Roosterfish. I caught one about that size in Baja a couple years ago. I bet Colorado Cowboy has snagged quite a few.

lol. well that didn't take long.
I had to ask. the ocean has a million weird looking critters and I only know a handful of them

Couldnt hook one on both harvest days but got these 2 on catch and release day. Still was alot of fun tho!

I did a guided trip in Oklahoma last year. Did really good. Went twice actually, once with a shoddy outfit. Nothing in 2 days.

1 day with another outfit and slaughtered them.

Knowing nothing about them we decided to pay. 14 hour drive from Western Colorado. Like 450 a day for 3 of us

My boys have been doing some bass fishing tournaments this year for the first time. My 14 year old and his friend took 4th out of 20 boats and got their picture taken on stage with Al Lindner. The next day we took 23rd out of 96 in a high school FLW tournament. Saturday we had a small team tournament and ended up 9 out of 18. Not bad for some crappie killers going up against some seasoned bass anglers.

Thanks, that was the FLW tournament. We were one of only 3 boats with smallmouth, the other 93 boats had largemouth. We were sight fishing them on beds on a cloudy day with 20-30 mph winds. Not the best conditions, but I knew we had zero chance of winning with largemouth. Every member of my family has caught smallies at least 5# and my biggest is 6 1/2
