I just received a refund of $65. I thought it would be considerably more. (Non resident deer application). Do the refunds come back in 2 parts usually?

Good third choice. Ive never hunted 2 and they say she aint what she used to be unless a blizzard hits of course.
Im happy with my tag, planning to be there at least three days before season opens for scouting. The only thing I dont like about NM is season very short, five days is nothing.

This was my 14th year of applying in NM. Drew last year for first time. Saw elk but no luck. This year I'll be hunting for gophers in my backyard :D

Man, I'd sure think about grabbing an OTC tag for something besides gophers.
Yeah, that's some good advice there. Those gophers hardly ever come up above ground, and I could be waiting around a long time for one to surface. I may need to think about Colorado this year.
I also need to think a little more when making my calculations - its actually been 16 years of applying.

Yep been putting in consistently for elk and Barbary sheep. On and off for deer, antelope, and oryx. Only 1 tag so far. It truly is all about luck in NM!
