I think she would be a great choice as well as Randy.

I wish that the RMEF would quit sending me so much mail. It seems like something comes about every other week.
Maybe it's time to quit the RMEF? Getting junk mail from the NRA is a reason some give to quit that organization, as dumb a reason as that is.

How many millions of $$ are wasted sending junk mail to people who are already members? This is the main reason I let my membership expire, same with the NRA.

You have to figure that the RMEF is a non prophet origination and can not live on dues alone. Hence all the junk mail asking for a few bucks. They are no different than the Mule Deer Foundation, Ducks Unlimited, NRA, or a host of dozens of others that are out there.

For myself I don't mind their junk mail. Some I look at while I just trash the others. I do the same with all the other organizations that I belong to that send out mailers asking for money. Sometimes I give a little bit more and other times I don't. But if I decide to just trash the mailers it doesn't take up that much room in my trash can where I feel that I need to cancel my memberships.

I decided to see if this would work with my wife. I explained that all the junk mail we get from bath and body works and victorias secret was grounds for terminating our association. Then she explained that she was fine with that but since Cabelas sent the most junk mail I had to give them up.

Dang it.

Maybe you should sell some of those catalogues on the "garage sale" section of the forum. Who knows, you could even fund your next hunting trip. Marco Polo sheep anyone?
If you are that hard up for a lingerie catalog it's easier to juts order 1 thing. Then you get a lifetime supply delivered to your doorstep.

Then you can do whatever you want with them, even frame them. LOL

It would be funny to do a comparison to see who sends more stuff in the mail trying to separate you and your money. Cabelas, RMEF, NRA, Victorias Secret, etc.. are all pretty good at that is seems.

I did that around 25 years ago and at the time Cabela's ruled the roost in junk mailings. I was getting 1 or 2 catalogs a week. But mind you at that time the internet was just really getting started and if you wanted something from them you had to call or use the good old USPS.

Perhaps it is time to try this again.

Cabela's still rules the "roost".

I kind of miss getting the Cabelas annual Fall hunting catalog from about 30 years ago. I still remember calling and speaking with an actual human on the other end of the phone line. They were always very nice no matter what time you called. The catalogs were probably an inch and a half thick and took hours to look through. They made for very good bathroom reading material.

Cabela's and Gander Mountain both. I actually preferred Gander it seamed that they had better quality and cost.

But any more with Cabela's you get Spring, Summer, Fall, and Winter clothing. Spring fishing, and Fall hunting catalogs. Along with Automotive, Shooting, and just Fishing catalogs not to mention a few other specialty ones. Then for a few years the came out with the hardbound catalog that has everything in it. You not only got the hardbound one but all the rest.
