The problem with throwing your hat into the arena for the foundations presidents office is that you are going to have to be dedicated to it for 365 days a year, just like any other corporate CEO's job.

Perhaps that is why Allen stepped down, he did say that he wanted to pursue other interest.

Chris Brackett probably is looking for a new gig...

Would love to see Randy do it but I think he's got his hands way too full for that.

Randy is already on the board and his term is coming to a close soon. He has stated that he is not interested staying on as he is extremely busy and has his own businesses to run. That said, he would be a great guy for the job.

David Allen did not choose to "pursue other activities". He was perceived by one board member as not PC enough, and he was given the boot. The vote to renew his contract was taken when those who support David Allen where not in attendance. Very disappointing, but the reality of corporate America.

David Allen has been very gracious, and resigned before his contract expired so as not to be a lame duck. The staff at RMEF is really upset that David Allen is gone. He was a class act that truly had the sportsmen's back and did great things for RMEF.

With many of the board members now actively involved in the search for a new president, hopefully a good choice will be made. We can only wait and pray we don't get another J. Dart.

Gave up on rmef when the land they were buying could only be hunted by board members and support of the spider bull and that style of hunting.

Randy Newberg.

I've never met the man, so only have a "public's perception" of Mr. Newberg via TV, articles, etc. My perception of him, is he's a quality guy, and I would feel very confident that our interests in the REMF would be very well represented by Randy.
