Planning on going to South Dakota in the fall for mule deer and antelope. Has anyone bow hunted them there. Or have any information or advice? Thank you

I don't think S. Dakota is one of the western hunting states guys are flocking to for big game, but there are some. Good for birds I hear.

Western SD, say west River, is an under appreciated MD destination. Every bit as good as SE MT in my experience. Similar for antelope, but SE MT antelope seemed larger on average vs SD. Just verify if any recent winter kills have impacted the herd, pick an area (s) accordingly, and go hunting. You will also run into WT in many areas.

Feel free to pm me. Worked and hunted in the area quite a bit in the last few years. Was fortunate enough to harvest a 160 4x4 this year up in the northern part of the state with archery equipment.
