Like stated practice at longer ranges. Your groups at 60yds will get tighter. I practice a 90yds all summer. When hunting season comes I'm very proficient to 60yds. I've been shooting a bow for 36yrs and I've shot three animals at 60yds. It makes your 40yd shots seem like 20.

How are things going getting out of the rut? Most importantly have any of the things discussed here helped?

Start practicing at 100 and your groups will tighten at 60. Aim small miss small. I myself am also plateaued but I hope to take it to the next level after laser eye surgery this spring!

I'm really looking forward to shooting that new Matthews. I really hate buying new bows. They are expensive and I am a tightwad. But its time to do something.

I'm going to sell all of the bows I have and a couple guns that are taking up space in the safe to try and offset the cost.

I have been shooting bows for almost 30 years and I really think the problem exists with this particular bow.

Boom....puller the trigger.

I went to the bow shop and shot them all. Rein 7 Rein 6 Realm, Realm X, Triax

I'm no master but I have shot a bow for 30 years. This one is the best bow I have ever shot.

Is it worth $1000? No. But thats what they cost. I should be good for another 10 years.

I realize you already bought a new set-up, but if it happens again I'd look at a bow without wheels. So may great bowers out there making great stuff. Good luck.

I used to shoot lots of tournaments and the.best thing I ever did was to start shooting from 60 to 100 on a regular bases. I have two of the same removable sights and just switch them out. I concentrate on making 10-20 great shots instead of just flinging arrows down range.

Sometimes it can be as easy as practicing with someone you know is better than you. It can be a head game.I recently shot at a 3D shoot with a competitive archer. He was shooting a range bow and I had my hunting setup. At the halfway point I had 3 10?s and I finished the second half with only 4 targets that I didn?t get a 10 on. Also practicing with others simulates just a little bit of the pressure at game time.
