The photography stuff funds my hunting exploits, can't seem to have enough gore-tex : )

I love to fish, camp and do some hiking. I also am a car nut. Built several street rods and love car racing(all types). I am alos a competitive shooter. I shoot Bulls Eye Pistol and Cowboy Action. I shoot all winter in Az, NM & Calif.

Working in the yard, boating with the family and following the grandkids in whichever sport they are playing. Used to shoot NRA High Power and IDPA on a regular basis and then 36 holes of golf every weekend. Lost interest in the shooting due to the people factor. Now I️ just shoot my hunting rifles on a regular basis and compete with myself. Love getting ready for hunting season (preparing food plots and building stands) for the grandkids.

loved riding sleds in my youth. until it got to the point you had to be a rich man to buy a new one.

same goes for the lift tickets for skiing. just got to the point I could no longer justify the expense.

guess I didn't love it enough.

I do at times miss busting the powder though.and winter is still by far, my favorite season.
I fully understand, however I would sacrifice food, in order to go sledding. Back when I was trying to be a snowmobile bum in alaksa, I went to the gas station with rolls of quarters I had saved up over the summer. I would buy the 5lb bag of pretzels and eat for days. Granted this was the early 90's when stuff was not so expensive. But you get the idea.

I love spending time with my wife and kids and now grandson and soon to be grand daughter! Hunting is a real passion for me though, definitely my #1 hobby by far. I also like trapping, clamming and crabbing. I just bought an old 64 GMC Suburban, so I will be getting back into old vehicles a little too! I used to love working on cars, but hunting took precedence and left little time and money, so I kind of got away from it.

Im right there with you too! Loved to snowmobile and did it for years, but they are another hobby thats extremely expensive. Side by sides are the same thing too, your always fixing them and are just a endless money pit

Havent skied in about 7 years, tons of places to go but my dad is the only person skiing that I️ know now. Got a knee that Ive injured a few times and would hate to really mess it up on the slopes. Thats my absolute worst fear

I make a couple trips a year to the Caribbean/Bahamas under the guise of a vacation for the missus, but spend as much time as possible flyfishing for bonefish while there.
To satisfy my love of aviation I build & fly RC airplanes; talk about an expensive hobby-I got my private pilot license years ago as a personal accomplishment thing, but staying current/proficient will suck your checkbook dry like nothing else, so I'm always working on some kind of model project (additionally, in the RC aircraft world, usually when you crash nobody bleeds or dies).

Backpacking, fly fishing both float fishing rivers as well as high lakes, playboat kayaking up to class v creeks, SUP surfing, single track dirt biking, 4x4 tipi camping w family, multi-day rafting w family seems to fill up the summer. Colorado has literally built surf waves on rivers all over the state and I take advantage of these waves...

Skiing w family, ice fishing both high lakes (12,000 ft +) as well as local lakes. Try to get out winter camping at least a couple of times and with the winter hut system here in Colorado hit up the Bonnie belle or Sheepshead at least once a winter. Snowmobiles are the tool of the winter as they get you everywhere from skiing to fishing to fun! My heart is still stuck on snowmachine assisted backcountry snowboarding nothing really like it but as I am 45 now slowing down as it does comes with its fair share of risk.

ColoradoV... I snicker a little when I read your list. It's a lot like my own! Living in the mountains is great and there's so much to do. Hard to have enough time to get it all done and even harder to afford it all! Reminds me of the joke about the guy from Colorado with a $500 car and a $5000 mountain bike on top... Lol!
