I'm still looking for that 1 in a 1000 buck, but I've only looked over about 40 bucks so far. Here is the best one to date. He is a great looking buck with surprisingly weak cutters, especially on the left side.
I know I shouldn't be counting inches this early in the year, but I'm not sure how much they will grow in the next 2 months.
I like this buck. Length appears to be good but no diggers. May have had a good winter and poor spring, or genetics.

I am no biologist but I wouldn't expect their horn to grow any more this year. Keep up the search and keep postin. Thanks

I've been doing some reading, looks like the bases will keep growing until about Aug 1st. The prongs and uppers are a done deal by early spring. I'm not expecting much but might keep an eye on him. Hoping to find one like him, but with stronger diggers.

Very Nice pictures!

Whats your camera of choice?
Thanks, I started with a canon rebel for family and kids, then moved to a 7d for wildlife, then moved to a 5d3 for the better sensor. The wildlife lens has always been the 400 f/5.6L. I just added a 1.4x extender to the kit a few years ago. Someday hoping for enough money for a 500 or 600mm lens.
