70s and 80s here already - you can shoot outside all year!

That said, I don't shoot as much as I should, especially from a tree stand or some other elevated place. It's not the same as shooting on level ground. This year, I'm also moving up from a bow I've used for years set at 56# to a 60-70# bow, so I'll need to shoot a lot more to get comfortable at the higher weight.

I haven't shot my bow since September. I am the worst at practicing, I just can't get into it, never have. I will be ready come September though.

Any ideas on maintenance issues arising from practicing/hunting in the rain and snow?

We practice early, late, and in the wind for sure, but so far not in the wet stuff.

I'll ask Brian to Chime in on the for you.
Thanks, the landscape in the background and the way the targets are set up look awfully familiar to me. If i'm correct this took place in Wyoming, about 25 miles north of where i live on my Highschool buddies ranch. That's if i'm correct, i don't claim to be a detective but it sure looks familiar. HAHA.

This picture was taken at my home in Southwest Montana. This is out my back garage door during a spring snow storm.

Bows now days are designed to handle adverse weather. I keep wax on my string so it doesn't soak in moisture and then pretty much good to go.

Thanks Brian! See i wouldn't make a very good detective. My buddy has almost the same setup at his ranch for hunters to practice on before they bowhunt. Even the fence off to the left in the picture is crazy similar. When i get out there again i'm gonna take a picture, it will amaze you how close these two look. But thanks for chiming in, i appreciate it.
