Hi All,
I have used the site before more for quick questions I found good information to help form an answer. I have started commenting and posting more so thought I should introduce myself. I was born and raised in eastern North Dakota and have hunted all my life. I LOVE chasing White-tail deer with bow and gun as well as hunting waterfowl every fall. I have recently bought my first hunting dog (parents hated dogs) and have since gotten into Pheasant/Gross hunting over the years as well.
My good friend and I have long dreamed of going on a western hunt as we typically hunt the river bottoms and farmland of the eastern half of ND. We found some public land that looked good out in the badlands in western ND. We applied for a tag and he got drawn. He ate tag soup but being in that country was one of the best experiences of my life! We are hooked for life. We are looking at traveling to Montana, South Dakota, and Wyoming in the coming years for Muleys, Antelope, and eventually Elk. Thank you all for keeping this forum alive and a great place to get information.
