Im looking to purchase a pair of these to wear for work. I'm a Kuiu guy and have hunted exclusively, all seasons here in Colorado in Attack pants. It would appear from reading the Kanab's have less of a athletic cut than the Attack pants.
Do they have the same stretch as the Attacks? Would the Guide pants be a better hot weather climate option? Lastly does the First Lite product line fit as advertised sizing charts or different?

Thanks

They do not stretch like the attacks since they are wool. Try the corrugates. I bought the Sitka Grinder pant this year and love them

I hunted in my kanabs a total of about 5 days this fall and then the seams in the crotch blew out. Besides that, they are ok. I just think the stitching was defective, but they definitely won't hold up to a lot of tough wear. Light weight and comfortable. Just not very tough.

I have seen good use out of mine but they will not hold up like the stretch nylon type of pants. My crotch also needed re stitched this year and they are wearing out where my boots rub together. A couple of small patches fixed both but these pants are wool and for wool pants they hold up very good but will not hold up like a nylon blend.

With that said I do have well over 100+ days in this set so I am happy with the way they perform and even with a few holes they are my go to hunting pant. I also have moved to 100% wool in all my backcountry gear that I can as when you really need - there is no other fabric that performs like wool.

They will be quite warm for hot weather. I get hot easily and they were a little warm when it was in the 60's to me. The corrugate guide pants are more of an athletic cut than the kanabs. The guide pants have held up better for me than the kanabs so far. I hunted all day in misting rain and 40+ mph winds in the guide pants and I was bone dry at the end of the day. I love them. With that said they are not a late season pant: too thin for any real cold without base layers.
