Idaho rut activity

I'm heading up to the Stanley/challis area for mule deer in a few days and saw they're getting some good cold weather and snow. Anyone starting to see any good rut activity yet?

Rut doesnt really happen until November around there..might see a little at the end of the month..but I wouldnt expect much in the way of rut activity.

IS A WEE BIT EARLY YET BUT I DID SEE A MINI4x4 mulie yesterday morning hanging with some does in unit 44

is early but some boys are paying attention. big buck yesterday morning was sniffing away at a couple of does. SE side of state

That's kind of what I figured. We'll be there through the 25th so hopefully we might catch the early stages of it with this cold weather
