It's been a long wait all summer but we're finally on our 20 hour drive out to hunt some antelope and mule deer. First time out west can't wait to see what we can find. Thanks for all the info that was handed out on here.

Yeah, I knew it was an older thread. He probably just got whatever info he was looking for and disappeared, never to return again. From the forum that is.

Have a couple guys who just got back from H who live here. Been pretty quiet. Dreams of 200" deer collided with the realities of high altitude hunting. They did kill deer, but it sounds like they took a beating doing it.

I embrace failure. Would have taken up golf long ago if I was afraid of trying again. I do have to say, I have a lot staked on this fall. I have invested a lot of time and energy into these seasons. Failure this time will hurt my feelings. :(

I don't fill half my tags, and not embarrassed to say it, but some guys are. Use to be friends with some guys like that. Who knows maybe he shot a dandy, but like you say got the info he wanted and never looked back.

then good luck to you.looking forward to the stories and pics of your success.
Thank you. We are as prepared as we can be. Just need to have faith it will turn out as it should.

I'm sure it will be an adventure, we just hope its not too much of an adventure. My wife and I have a history of weather related excessive adventure.
