It is worth what ever you can get for it. Nothing more and nothing less.

For selling it you can take it down to a local gun shop and see if they will sell it on a consignment. They will usually price it at the book value and then charge you a percentage of the selling price for doing it for you. Other than that you can sell it on Gun Broker.

BlueBook of Current Gun Values shows it as $2050 in 100% condition. Jim is right also about where to sell it. Gun Broker is one of the best online auction sites. Nice gun, should be in a collectors inventory somewhere. You might also google Winchesters Collectors, as there is a club of those folks nationally.

I just posted about this exact gun within the last week or so. I have one as well, I have never fired it. Anyone here in this thread have any experience with this rifle and accuracy? Thinking of taking it to WY for Pronghorn, hoping it shoots at least 1 MOA.

You'll never know what it is capable of until you take it out to the range and shoot it.

It could of been a tack driver right out of the box but you never know what some other owner has done with it or if it is even capable of coming close to 1 MOA.

Dennis,

That's one excellent rifle chambered for a fantastic cartridge. This is merely my opinion: it might be worth far more in your hands while hunting huge bull elk.
