are there any "free range" cattle in unit 16 Wyoming?

I know it's an odd question, but I have never hunted here before and I didn't know if this was a common practice out west.

I saw a small herd of 6 cows and calves get in the conga line with some Angus going to the watering hole mid morning once.....as others have said......I don't think the cattle bump the elk at all. Only issues I've had ( and I run into cattle every year)is that later in Sept/Early Oct I'm convinced the cattle think I'm the cowboy coming in to lead them out of the valley and down to low ground for the winter....I feel like they look at me like "whew.... glad your here, not going to let you out of my sight"......I've had them then follow me around for a day......some herds have very minimal human contact also and may want to get close and push your comfort zone to the point of being dangerous....just a heads up.

If you bring a cardboard cutout of a cow you can use that as a decoy as you try to get closer to a speed goat. They are so used to them that you can usually get quite close by hiding behind it as you walk up on them.
