I saw this just came out from Solo Hunter and wanted to see what everyone thought, http://solohntr.com/product/solo-hntr-binocular-system-with-rangefinder-pouch/.

Harness is rigged up similar to the Kuiu with a second strap to secure the harness when the binos are removed which I have seen as a gripe about Kuiu especially when taking out to put on a tripod.

Not a known gear maker but his rifle cover has always interested me and I absolutely love his show. I don't think I'll be trading in for my Kuiu just yet but wanted to share nonetheless.

I paired a crooked horn rf sidekick for my rangefinder on my kuiu harness and love it. This one is nice to have it all set up out of the box though.

Looks pretty nice really.... my concern as always with these kid of systems is if when you open the pouch up to take out your binoculars do they fog up because they have been sealed up out of the elements.

After watching the video, I ordered one so I check that out. I don't think they would fog as there is no heat inside like if you put them inside your jacket which is what I do now if it is wet out. I like that the binos disconnect without messing with the harness.

Only time I've ever experienced fogging problems is if the bino's are under a layer of my clothing, whether a pouch or not. None of the harness systems I've used have had that issue, so far, and I've used a number of them. Anything is possible I guess, but not been an issue to date for me.

Definitely let us know what you think when you get it.

Will do. Looking forward to trying it. I like the idea and it solves my range finder issues. Never liked it on my belt.

Just for everyone's info this is a product made by Horn Hunter, with the cool SoloHunter logo of course.

I got the harness today. First thoughts;
pros. Very comfortable. you have disconnects on the bino straps that don't affect the harness. So if you were using them on a tripod, you didn't have to take off the harness. Very stable and didn't interfere with shooting my bow. With some effort it can be used with one hand.

cons; a bit small. I was using my Vortex Crossfire 10x42's and it was snug. Could have used a bit more room in them. Had to remove the lens caps for sure. The range finder pouch was located nice but also very tight. I have a Nikon Monarch. When I was shooting my bow and went to take out the range finders, I could do it but used my bow in my left hand to hold down the harness while taking out the rangefinder.
bottom line; I think I'm going to like them.
I have no experience with any other cased harnesses. The more I wore them and shot my bow, the more I got used to them. And they are very comfortable.

Ok I've worn them for two days shooting several times.
Verdict= I like them a lot. They are starting to break in and I'm getting used to them. They are way comfortable and secure where I set them. I was shooting and adjusting my bow as well as pulling arrows and never even noticed them.
