Yea, you have to be careful with what you read in the MRS. Yea it is sometimes a good tool but lots of mistakes. You have to do a lot of double checking.

Well guys it is not intended to be the sole deciding factor in choosing a unit. It is just one more tool to put in your box. Double check anything you use since mistakes can and will be made almost anywhere. I am grateful for the MRS and have found it to be accurate for what I use it for. It is a quick and easy resource and a good place to start. I can only imagine the work and effort that goes in to putting this thing together and I am sure every effort is being made to keep mistakes to a minimum....just my thoughts BB

+1, every year I read posts criticizing the MRS (either here or on other sites). I like it and as posted above I too use it is a good place to start.

New Mexico Unit #36 contains a lot of public land, and is easy to access. Start at the boarder with the reservation and or the ski resort and hunt towards the lake all the way to down to Nogal. I hunted it for elk twice and was successful both times.
