Hey everyone! We had a great Hunt this year and I was able to take quite a few photos and some video during the trip. I thought I would share a few pics a day as I go through them. We had temps from the high 20s to the low 80s during the two weeks so there is a wide range of photos. I hope everyone enjoys them. I have a few hundred photos to go through so it will take a while to weed through them.
A little rain the first day then some snow for the next two days.

We had a few crystal Clear mornings after the snow quit day three. This was my first attempt to take some early morning shots in the dark.

To be continued~~~

This year the first week was great cool temps and a lot of animal activity. It was easy to make those steep out of the way climbs to explore some new territory.

This was it 9800ft. What a view when you are at this altitude.

I know how you feel. Wish I was back there now myself. I have some more early morning pics for later. I also have some good Elk pics if I can ever get time to go through the video.

Here are a few from Day four of the hunt. Had a opportunity for a midday siesta and then put a stalk on some Elk about a mile away. Josh got within 40yds of the cows but the bull stayed at 70yds.

Josh was in the trees lower and to the right of the Elk when I took this photo.

End of another day. And as usual we were back at camp right at dark.

We were able to hunt up a few grouse while we were Elk hunting. It was a good treat to have them for dinner back at camp for a few nights. I was able to get some good video of Josh taking one. The retrieval was straight down the mountain!! I will post it at a later date.

We did see quite a bit of bear sign after the snow. A few decent size tracks in the mix.

This pic was taken one afternoon overlooking a snow slide. We were watching a small group of elk across the drainage which we eventually put a stalk on later that afternoon. The pic is above. Ironically after the stalk was a bust we looked back and watched two small bulls in this snow slide. I will share the video at a later date. It was pretty funny looking back!!

I had a new Camera this hunt and found out it does Panoramic photos so I tried it out and thought some came out pretty good. It is quite amazing what Cameras can do these days.

This is a shot showing some of the drainage's that we hunt. Kind of neat to see them in one photo.

A photo of a dammed up part of a creek. Most of these are full of native Cutthroat trout.

This is looking back towards one of the drainage's that look back towards the truck which is about 3 miles at the trail head. We were actually glassing a pretty large herd of Elk that was on the other side of the drainage.
