I have been on here I the past but never joined until now. I figured I might as well join the forum since I am relocating for work to Powell. I have basically been raised hunting in the Southeast and Midwest. I Did do one back pact trip in Colorado two years ago. I am a huge bowhunter, big buck buck killa, turkey hunter and basically kill anything with hair and a heartbeat. I guide turkeys in the spring, have worked for 7 different outdoor shows as well as the National Wild Turkey Federation. I plan on finishing my royal slam and 10 grand slams when I move out west. Merriam's are the only ones that I lack. I absolutely fell in love with Elk hunting after my ten day backpacking trip two years ago as well as guiding a 418 10x7 in 2005 in southern Saskatchewan. Anyways good luck this fall.

I will do that. I am super pumped about moving out there. I wish they could fill my position faster so I could move and become a resident faster. Also I am a taxidermists and wouldn't mind getting some new business come Fall.

Matt, maybe you should join him! Haha I'm heading north Sept. 7th! :)
Pete, I'm thinking the same thing. I would love to be back out west. If only I could get the rest of the family to tag along.
If he leaves soon then you won't have to come all the way to my house to pick me up to go to B.C. Haha. Powell is a lot closer.

You being from Peachtree city is in a way in my neck of the woods. I have killed some studs in Newnan. I am also a taxidermists and picked up a lot of deer from Huckabees, and other deer processors in your area.

Yea we may have even crossed paths. I hunt more over in Henry, Butts, and Spalding. Have not found a spot over this way. Just bought some land in Fayetteville that has deer and turkey on it but it's only 7 acres.

Guess I need to get on with Georgia Pacific if it means I get to head west. Lol. Good luck to ya when you get situated. You should love it out there.

If your anything like me you've had your gear laying out on the bedroom floor for like 2 months. I don't think I use to get anymore excited as a 8 year old waiting on Santa. It's all you think about and everything else suffers because of it. Heck I'm excited for you and I'm not even going this year. Get that camera figured out would ya? Were all expecting lots of pic's. Good Luck and kill some $hit!

Matt, this is a family show! Lol funny thing is though I'm not as excited as I probably should be. I'm just trying to be realistic that nothing is guaranteed ! But the drive is!

Oh yea! You'll be fine. It's truly about the adventure anyway. That is some cool country up there. I know how it is. As you get closer to "go time" it changes a little. It becomes surreal and you wanna get it done, and this dream you've had is now fixing to be a reality.

Sorry for the explicit language. I just get jacked up sometimes. Just channeling my energy to you in case you need it getting up over that next ridge.

Sneakypete is going to B.C. on a combo hunt. Mt goat, moose, caribou, and maybe grizz and wolf. He'll correct me if I'm wrong. I just give him a hard time about picking me up on his way to B.C. b/c he's in Northern California. He's a good guy and I hope he does well.

Brianboh if you stick around this forum you will enjoy it because "literally" everyone on here is a good person. They get rid of anybody that is negative or hateful. Everyone is helpful. It is unlike any other forum.
