There will be a second draw with a handful of random units for archery, a few area 10 rifle tags, and a butt load of doe tags for the same area. The tough part about the second draw or "leftover tags" is you already have the bonus point from the 1st draw. Do you want to roll it over to next season and better your odds of a decent tag, or lose out on the point and grab a second draw tag for a "green chip" unit. Meaning it's typically a unit that you need 0 points to draw and the tags left over are because not enough people put in for that area the first draw. Last season I grabbed a doe tag to fill the freezer after not drawing a buck tag. You still get to hunt and grab some meat. And you keep your buck point for the following year.Question for you Nevadaians, are there any tags available for you residents if you do not draw them?

I know that you lose points if you draw in the second drawingNope. Lose your points
Not 100% sure in that. I bought a leftover doe last year, as to not sacrifice my buck points. I'm curious to that answer as well. If I could grab a 10 archery tag. While not messing withy points I would probably do it.I know that you lose points if you draw in the second drawing
Are you saying you loose them if you buy a leftover tag?
I was halfway holding out for maybe a leftover doe tag but wasn't sure if I would loose points and would I pay non resident price or the reaident price for the tag since they are resident tags? Anyone know for sure?

It was a first come first serve, any legal weapon 101-108 doe. Not a depredation.Which doe tag dos you get? If it was a "depredation" then that is seperate from the other deer hunt codes.
Second draw? Or first come first serve "OTC"? I got them confused in the original question.I picked up a OTC archery buck tag 2 years ago and my bonus point was taken.
Yes you will pay full price non res fees.Ok did some digging pretty sure if it's a leftover after second draw no points lost but I do have to pay full non res price.
It was left over after the 2nd draw.Second draw? Or first come first serve "OTC"? I got them confused in the original question.
