Who is fishing out there and what are you catching? Feel free to add any reports or pics you might get to this thread.

From Halibut to Brook Trout big or small lets see them all!

Around here the rivers are on the rise so it will be a month or so until the river fishing is good again but the lakes are fishing well. I have been out for mac's a few times, as well as hit the rivers before they came up. Once the high country melts out nothing better to mix in with scouting for high country bucks than a fly rod. Until then I might just try and ice fish one in June just to say we did it.

Hope to add a few pics to this thread myself and looking forward to see what other folks are catching!

Here are a couple of pics from the past couple of weeks.

Until the high lakes open and the rivers drop from run off fishing for big lakers will have to pass the time until scouting season! We are getting a lot of give or take 30" fish with the occasional bigger one mixed in - the big one I got Sunday and it stretched the tape to 38" and was over 20# I am 6'5" tall and about 225# so big guys like me dont do a fish justice in a pic lol!

Again if any of you guys out there are catching anything from Bluegill to Blue fin lets see um as I love to pass the time with fishing until hunting!

A few fish so far this spring. From snapper and amberjack to shoal bass and large mouth bass.
Lol...I know right. The saltwater was during spring break so luckily no harm no foul. The freshwater is close by and we just run over there when we get a chance. The boys are out of school now. In fact they are over there fishing right now. My oldest loves it. In fact he went with his grandaddy all day Tuesday after Memorial Day on Lake Oconee and caught 25 crappie. He would fish all day everyday if he could.

Heck yeah, I have to get out there sometime and hook a few of them tasty bugger's.
If you go up hunting in region F take a pole. There are lots of really good spots to fish. Just a few simple panther Martin spinners, spoons, and the old faithful night crawlers.

Thanks, I'll have to do that. This may be a dumb question, but how do you know which ponds will have trout? Or will people in town tell you?

There really isn't any ponds up there. Creeks, rivers, and lakes. If there is flowing water there are fish.
