Oregon Get Together Poll

Couldn't figure out how to add the poll on the other thread...so I started another.
The idea is to figure out where folks that are interested in the get together LIVE. That way we can hopefully find an area that will be most central to the participants. After we figure this out, we can work on a date. I am kinda guessing early August would be a realistic time frame.

Meet at Diamond Lake? Pretty central location. Decent facilities. Hotel, cabins, restaurant/bar, FISHING!!!!! We could probably book the Bailey room for a dinner party/reception/meeting type gathering for one evening. I've got a boat(party barge type) and I'm sure others have boats too. They also rent them there.

What a great idea. I was thinking of a PCT trek south of sisters. I think the crowds might die down a little when you get south of hwy 20.

Diamond Lake is a great spot! I know I like just about any excuse to get out of the valley!

I have a 20 ft Duckworth that can fish 4 comfortably. I dont know Diamond lake but I know Odell like the back of my hand. Great for Kokes and Macs!

its festival week in P. They are currently all running naked through the streets. Give it a few days to settle down.

The weekend of the 22nd is the waterfowl festival in Hillsborough and we will most likely have a booth there.

So, should we shoot for the 8th of August? I'll take care of securing a spot and I will get there a bit early and set up. If we do it potluck style we can have quite an array of foods.

Well.....with a lack of interest, we may just set something up around Harrisburg, and if folks want to show they can. If you really are interested post up!

Nothing against anyone on here, but my weekends with the family are limited. Kids are growing up fast and will be off on their own in a few years. I'm going to spend as many weekends with them as I can while there around.
