You might look at the Kelbly - they make a great gun - http://www.kelbly.com/rifles-hunting.html
I have one made in a 7 mm WSM and it shoots under 1/2 moa. They started as bench rest gun makers and then added some hunting rifles. They make their own actions. I had them use a #4 sporter Brux barrel 24" 1 in 9 twist, Jewel trigger, Carlson stock, Vias muzzel break. It is so fun to shoot and reload for. I use 64 Gr. 4831 ext, Fed Match Primer, 180 gr. Berger Vld and seat it .020 off the lands and it is shooting 2950 fps. I put a tactical scope on it. Good luck, so many options and good ways to go. The only draw back is my gun weighs 11 pounds with the scope and bipod, but it can really reach out there.

here's my dilemma... I am currently using a pre 64 mod 70 .270 and have since I was a boy, it has always; always been a tack driver and has killed without fail... except for one time... I wont tell that story ever again though.... I've always thought getting one made custom for me would be awesome! I have a .338 and it just sits in safe, I enjoy shooting my pre 64 way to much to put it down. as im writing this im deciding if I should put that money towards a new custom gun or buy me another pre 64... hmmmm dangit!
This is where Im at. I have thought about getting a new gun many times but my old pre 64 270 kills everything I point it at (providing I do my part) so why get a new gun. Its very accurate and I shoot it and know it well I see no good reason to stop hunting with it.

I feel exactly the same way about my 50 year old Ruger M77, 25-06.

All of my rifles have some work done on them that includes triggers adjusted and being glass bedded. Not really a custom, but fine tuned I would call it.

Now I finally did have one built at my fathers suggestions and here it is. Winchester Model 70 in .280 AI. Shilen match stainless barrel, action trued, bolt trued, pillar & glass bedded, special metal coating. Can't wait to get a scope!
