Nothing spectacular here. Elk-270 and Deer-204. Haven't spent too much time over in 204, time for some day hikes.
You should go buy a lotto tag, that's pretty rare to draw the two tags you have drawn in back to back years with zero points. There is more cover than you think in 426. It would be worth the extra trip in Sept I think. We will definitely have to hook up when you are here, I will introduce you to some ranchers in the area your tag is good for.JJ , yes rifle, but I could archery hunt the area, but there is no cover to conceal me accept a Montana decoy. Oh ya zero bonus points also. I drew your tag last year with no pints also. I will definitely hook up with you while I'm back there! How's that buckle? It was pretty cool following it being made, again congrats!
Well? How'd ya do?You lucky buggers! I better get on the FWP site and check right now!
Probably don't have to tell you but there is some decent mule deer in 261. That was my first choice and naturally, I drew my third choice.I drew a 261-50 mule deer tag, going to be a great year chasing mule deer with my bow!!! Anyone else draw a 261-50?
My folks and buddy live in Corvallis. I'll keep my eyes open.Yes there are, it should be a great hunt! I work in Corvallis so I should be able to do some great hunts after work. I've been told my best chance at a big buck is with a bow before they get pushed up into the timber during rifle season. Does anyone have any suggestions?
