I just rest the bottom wheel of the bow on the ground and put my binos on the top wheel if I need a steady rest.

I just purchased a bino holder made by Bog Pod. It fits on a 1/4 inch bolt and can fit on my bog pod shooting sticks or can be put on my light weight tripod. I have the EL 10x42 Swarovski and they don't have a stud adapter so my binoculars sit in the cradle and a strap holds them on the mount. Very solid build and easy on and off. Also it was 1/2 the price of the model made by Swaro. Cost around $60.

Here is a photo of my Bino Holder - by Bog Pod, it is easy on and off, very secure and I love it. Been glassing for bears and the tripod has saved my shoulders and arms. I tell you the glass on my new 10x42 EL Swarovski glasses is unreal. I saw a bear from 2 miles away the other day.

I have the Vortex adapter that I use on my 15x56's. Its a bit long so a pain to store in my pack. I always have to take it off then back on again if im storing it (Its a pain). I am also in the market for something a little more low-profile so it will fit in my bino case without having to take it off. The unit from Coueswhitetail.com looks like it would work perfect!
My 2 cents would to not go with the vortex.

Is this the Vortex adapter you have?

I never had trouble leaving it on to go in my case.
