You will be pleased off road, on road the manual ones are always on, which is not always good, can make noise when cornering, but are much cheaper.

I have heard good things about Randy's. Call and ask them about options. http://www.ringpinion.com/Default.aspx

Often there is a local guy who does this stuff who works with the local 4x4 or Jeep club who may be the best option of all.

If its mostly a highway rig Im not sure you would be happy with a mechanical locker. A selectable locker gives you the best of both worlds but they cost alot more. I think a limited slip might be your best option.

I think trading my wifes car for a 4x4 is my best option!
Only if she will happily drive the RWD grocery hauler...happy wife, happy life. Best idea, buy a winch and land anchor, before it arrives, trade the wife's car for a 4x4 PU, mount winch to 4x4... Game, set, match!

It will be at the end of May. There will be a thread about it and the more you post on it the better your drawing odds will be;)

Utahs draw process is open now. Nevada opens in a month or two. The mrs sections in the EHJ and EBJ give the closing dates of all the draws. Just to let you know utah has a limited entry draw and a general deer draw. You can put in for both though.
Is there one that's better to put in for than the other? Honestly NV was an afterthought. but im driving from Ohio to Utah so I figure I might as well try to draw NV too. My goal is to draw a tag and maybe luck into a NV deer and get a few more days of hunting out of it

The general tags in utah are easier to draw obviously. The special tags (limited) are for places like the henry mountains and such. You can put in for both and build points simultaneously.
