My grandpa has 18 points for rocky mountain sheep here in utah. He's in decent shape for 70 but still has obvious restrictions. I was hoping to get some insight on some units you can spot and stalk from a wheeler or something along those lines. Just a more accessible unit. If I could get some help it would be much appreciated thanks.

This is what I'm afraid is going to happen to me before I draw a sheep or mtn goat tag here in Nevada.
Good luck to your gramps.

This will happen to 90% of the people chasing points, most will die before they draw a sheep tag!
Really??? I can see your point when it comes to non-residents but don't you as a resident of Utah at least have a decent chance to draw a sheep tag sometime? I always assumed if your a resident of a western state you have a decent shot at drawing a sheep tag eventually (before your 90 or dead). Maybe I'm wrong? I've never looked so I don't know... I feel kind of guilty having drawn a sheep tag after only applying for 7 years...

Hopefully you find a good spot. Sheep is my grandpa's favorite hunt I think. He has helped my aunt on one hunt also. He is 78 and I have a hard time keeping up with that part goat/part human dude.
