Unit 58 Elk Hunt - Place to Camp

Hey fellas,

New to the forum world. Tons of great and useful information.

We are hunting Oct 5-15th in unit 58 for elk. We will be on Carter Mtn. Can you advise on a place to camp near HMA area such as Hoo Doo Ranch?

There is really no place to camp in 58. Your best bet is to stay in Cody.

Yes, hunting the Carter Mountain HMA. I called the local WGFD and was told Shoshone NF, but appears to be a really long drive.
