Odd question and I know I will get a quick, accurate answer on here. The site shows that I drew the tag, I received my bonus point refund, but I haven't received the actual license. What am I missing? Do I receive it in person when I purchase the conservation license?

I just received the antelope tag last week. I believe the Mule deer tag should follow soon behind. So yea, they will mail it to you.

And....you print your Conservation stamp when you purchase it online. Good luck and keep us posted on your scouting and hunt please.

As previously mentioned, buy your Conservation Stamp on line and then print it off at home, as they will not send one to you like they do your license/tag.

You dont have to purchase your conservation stamp to get your tag. The tag will come either way, you just have to have the stamp before you hunt. You cat either buy it online or in person when you are in WY. Congrats on the tag!!

Thanks for the info. Tag showed up a few days ago. Excited to get into that country and get after it!

Any Easterners receive their muley license in the mail yet? I head out in a month and I have yet to see mine.

If you don't get your tag by the end of this week, I would suggest you contact the Licensing Section of the G&F. I bought my leftover deer tag online on 7/17 and it came in the mail before the end of the month.

A quick update. My planned summer scouting trips fizzled for a variety of reasons. As a result, I headed to Wyoming last week without having set foot in the area. Long story short, I paid the price and spent the majority of the trip trying to get familiar with the area and guessing where I would find the type of buck I am looking for. After some very frustrating days with miles in the truck and on foot, I think I figured the area out a bit. The low deer density, subtle nuances of the country (it all seems the same at first), and unusually wet summer/fall made it tough. I never did find the buck I am looking for but will be headed back down at the end of the month with a much better idea of where to start.

Thanks to all of those people who have PM'd or commented. Hope everyone is having a great fall - MTnsheds

Hope everyone is having a great fall. I wanted to send a quick update.

I spent nearly 2 weeks in unit 90 - early in October and last week. The unit was pretty tough and deer numbers were even lower than I expected (and I expected them to be low). I only saw a handful of mature deer but they were 3's, 3x4's, and crab clawed 4's. Other groups of hunters reported the same results with even more days of hunting. I found a decent 4x4 w/ eye guards on Sunday and killed him - 165". Overall, I was disappointed with the quality of the unit but had a good time.

Be safe - MTnsheds
