You took the words right out of my mouth BB. It's usually all about the revenue ...I don't have "much" stake in the game numbers since I don't reside in NV, but I do have an opinion. Of course I have an opinion, I currently hold points in Nevada, and therefore, I vote no increase. Let the past speak for itself, Nevada is a good "trophy" state, and past administrations working with NVDOW, performed nicely. Don't disrupt a good thing, and keep the hunters coming to Nevada,,,lets say,,,instead of Colorado! Trophy quality keeps em comin' back, not forkies. Keep a good thing goin', and yes, you cannot stockpile game, but it does increase the opportunity to "have" trophy animals available.
I have a theory on it but am not sure if I want to share it though.

I am not sure but I think it can be true. Ok this increase was a 1 year deal so far. Well I am thinking by them increasing the tags they got rid of almost everyone's bonus points. I am thinking it was a way to clear all of the bonus points because it has to be hard keeping track of all those people and points. Not sure if true but I think I makes perfect sense to me.Bring it on. Don't hold back we know you want too
Idaho!!!! That all I have to say about that.I've never hunted Nevada, and probably will never get the chance, but it's stupid to mess with a good thing. In 2 states I've seen the damage caused by giving out too many tags. Everybody's happy for a couple years, but then nobody's happy for a long time while the herd rebuilds.
