Wyoming Winters

Are we now going through the cycle's for future winters kills in Wyoming and if we are is the Wyoming Game & Fish planning on cutting tags? This year families members had the chance to hunt region H and were concerned they notice a drop in about halve of the amount of deer were gone from the area that we have been hunting for 20 years. There was some good bucks in the area but not like years past. Any thoughts on this subject?

We have had some rough winters that's for sure. The Game and Fish wrote a big thing about it back I think in like January or February in the local newspaper. We had a horrible kill off this last winter. They said they would continue to monitor it and cut back on tags if needed. This year was definitely a bad one for deer hunting. We had such a wet year, it was supposed to be awesome for horn growth but with all the deer that were winter killed this last year, the season still pretty much just sucked. haha. Definitely a bummer.
