I've officially measured a few that net high enough for the ALL-TIME B&C records program.......so not too sure about the genetics there. :)

I have the sheds of a whitetail that I think is larger than the one pictured. Found them in central Wy between Shoshoni & Casper on a big ranch I hunt. There are a few w/ts there in the hay fields. We saw the buck I thing the sheds came from and he was huge. Shot a few there when I had does tags. The ranch owner says "kill em all"!

Neat looking tall, heavy rack. I'm not looking for township, range and section, but where in Wyoming were you hunting?

Well I have seen a few studs but really Wyoming isn't a producer of trophy class whitetails. Not taking anything away from the few areas in the state that are capable of providing the nitrition it takes to build big bones. Big like the ones that come from more temperate climates of the mid west. And yes I do know about the monsters that come from Canada. Like Jen said I have seen some really impressive bucks up around her place.
