Hey, just wanting to see what others that may have hunted this unit think expectations should be this year. I spoke to the biologist who said the winter was mild and the summer has been really wet in the Shirley Basin. That said, horns should be better than last year when we hunted 63-2 to the west. Top goats in there were topping out around 14" with a flyer or two. Most were in the 11-13" range. I understand that they are cutting tags in 48, and that it's not near what it was 3-4 years ago, but I'm still hoping to find something that will push or exceed 15". We're trying to draw out early in the Hanna Draw HMA and hunt the last couple days of Sept and 1st of Oct., but we'll see. Plan on camping on the Miracle Mile and do some fishing as well - it was lights out last year. Thanks all! Just interested in hearing what opinions are out there!
