Wyoming unit 17

Finally drew an antelope tag, even though it's a second choice. Only tag I've drawn this year, seems I used up all my luck last year. First time lope hunting, any advice would be welcome.

Congrats on the tag. Not sure about that unit but if there is decent public access you will do fine.

Access is terrible. Plan on paying a trespass fee. On the upside there's lots of antelope in 17. I shot my first antelope there 30 years ago and he made the book.

Access will be limited. We aren't going to be trophy hunting, more just getting out with my old man and filling some tags. I appreciate the help and will check out the walk in areas.

I picked up this tag in the leftover draw. I'll be out there the day before the season opens trying to find a buck on public land. I'll report back any findings Elkhunter [emoji106]
