Good afternoon everyone, just found the forum. I have read alot of good posts, looks like I will get alot of good info here.
I have drawn a tag for Unit R which covers units 41, 46, 47, 50 -53, Greybull area. This will be my first time hunting in Wyo. I was looking for any info that might lead me to a nice Muley in this part of the state. Any info would be appreciated. Hope everyone has a great and safe hunting season this year.
Thanks again..
Pat

I spent two days in there last fall prior to rifle opener. Only seen a few does. You will need to pay attention to the weather, snow will push them down. You will then need to hit up the lower elevation land, which will mean you will need to likely hike in pretty far.

Make sure you have a good map and GPS so you can navigate the private boundaries. If they are up high still then spend your time in the forest glassing hard.

Thanks AT, I dont mind hiking in. I was thinking about going to Hyattville then heading north to some of the canyons there. The upper elevations got some fresh snow last night. That might help us out a little bit. What unit did you hunt?
