I drew region E this year, I am pretty excited. This will be my second consecutive trip mule deer hunting in Wyoming. Looking at the MRS my buddies and I picked E as an attempt to get away from the crowds. Last year we hunted in the Big Horns and there was a lot of people! Any general advice on zone E? I would imagine I should start looking at the Rockies and move out from there. What I really want to know though is what should I expect in terms of hunting pressure? I can google earth scout from my couch so I really don't need spots!

Has anyone hunter region E lately? It seemed like a good choice base on the MRS. I didn't look at a whole lot else, but I like that the land is very diverse in this area. A quick Google search made it sound like this was an inferior region which is not what I got based off of Eastman's MRS. Thanks again Ore Hunter that area looks very promising.

I antelope hunted in what would be Deer 97 for 6 days and happened upon one group of about 10 muley does and one bachelor group of 3 muley bucks. I was hunting antelope country so I was in the sage and not around anything very wooded. The big buck in the bachelor group was a nice looking main frame 4 pt that probably went in the 130's. The other was a 3X3 and the little one was a small 3 pt, probably a 1.5 year old deer. It looked like it would be fun country to deer hunt, I just wasn't in traditional "deer" country. Both groups were seen in the last hour of legal shooting light

My 2 cents- good luck with your deer hunt. Let us know how it turns out.
