Wyoming Elk Unit # 45

I would like to get some information on the elk population in Unit 45. If anyone has hunted that area I would love to hear back from you.

I am wondering the same thing. Anyone out there have an opinion as to which area would be best to horse pack back in during archery elk season. Area 41 vs 45. We r looking to get back in away from the crowds and maybe catch some fish and possibly shoot a bull

A limited quota area should help the hunting pressure and see that most of 45 is not wilderness

The elk are up high in the early season in 41. You may have trouble with that area if you're a NR due to the amount of wilderness.
