Wyoming Elk area 38/40

I was curious if anyone has had any success in areas 38/40 of the big horns? I'll be hunting antelope in mid september, and was planning on doing some research in those units for elk. I'm leaning towards rifle hunting unit 40, but I'll even take suggestions for other units in that area. So if anyone has any insight or has had success in these areas I would love some advice to avoid the masses or just some good areas to scout. I've got 4 prefernce points so I should be able to draw next year.

I'll be hunting unit 45 this year for the first time myself. Drew a 45-1 tag.....

I've looked at 45 a bit as well, but let me know how the hunt goes. I've never elk hunted so I'm just trying to acquire as much knowledge as possible before drawing my tag. I'm also trying to decide whether to hunt rifle or bow in those units.
