Wyoming draw questions

Hey guys, I have a few Wyoming draw questions ... specifically antelope.

My buddy and I came up and hunted antelope a few years back. Every year since we have just been putting in for a point later on in the year. He has decided he wants to take his fiancee up this year for either a few does or a second choice buck and does. So I basically have 3 questions. I figured I would ask you guys and not take the chance of misinterpreting the regs.

1) He can just put in for some doe tags and it won't affect his points, correct ?

2) If he finds a unit he can draw 2nd choice is there an option to just put in for a point first choice and then the unit he's trying to draw 2nd choice ?

3) Are buck and doe tags basically completely separate entities ? Meaning when he puts in for a buck tag then he would a put in for doe tags on a totally different app ?

I apologize for some many questions but I'm just trying to cover my (his) bases here. He's just trying to do a little antelope hunting without burning points.

You can apply for reduced price doe tags and save your points. There is no way to apply for points first choice. You would need to apply for a unit you don't have the points for, and hope you don't draw randomly. The only different tags are full price, which could be buck, doe, or any antelope. And reduced price doe/fawn.

Have him apply for unit 58 1st choice then his preferred unit for 2nd choice buck, regular price draw.
