I want to thank any responding writers ahead of time for comments or messages. I drew a wyoming deer 117 tag this year and is my first deer hunt in the unit. I have spent some time in the area for elk but that is a later season. Seeing if anyone has had experience in the area with it being a September 15 opener. I am not writing this to ask your secret spot, and its a very big area, but asking more about September hunts, elevation difference hunting in September, and particularly the bear activity in September. 6 weeks can make a huge difference on these factors and appreciate any help. I have ability to go in on horses but unsure of many of the trails. Has anyone had this tag? Been successful, and any bear issues?
