A friend is thinking about a unit 90 pronghorn hunt this year and was wondering how the access is along with the herd health.

I threw my hands up and said that I'd ask the pros.

Will you please tell us what they said?😁
He actually thanked me for thinking about helping him out instead of telling him to get lost.

I looked at the private land on OnX and it looks like there is some good access but I have zero idea if it is good for hunting or not along with how the herd health is.

He has enough points to get into the special draw and I tried to talk him out of it but it was a no go. He said that he just wants to kill a buck pronghorn. I didn't even ask him how many points that he has.

I know that the units that I have looked at for years just south of there take a number of points and as I was gaining points they just kept requiring more points, so I just kept buying points.

Special antelope tags are around $1,000. Sorry, I am not paying that for an antelope tag ANYWHERE!

I have hun ted 90 many years ago on private ground, so I really can't say about public.

Jim, my apologies. It was a (bad) joke. ;):censored:

I think that he came to his senses or he finally looked at what the special tag cost.

He is now thinking that $1200 can be spent better somewhere else.
