My dad didn't draw the general with one point either. Should have payed the extra for the special for him was really looking forward to having him out and hunting with him. Next year I guess.

I think you are in the majority elk_n_esox. No tag for me either. I have a better shot at a moose or antelope this year so there is still hope. Good luck in the draw.

I drew a general tag with one point. I'm not bragging, I feel like I wasted a tag. 2 days after I put in for az and wy my wife told me she's preg. Due sept 24, poor poor planning on my part.

Where were you planning on hunting with the general? With your child due in Sept, archery season is probably a bust. A lot of general rifle seasons open on Oct 15th in neck of the woods.

I was planning on archery hunting the larimie units, since it's closer to co, and minimal wilderness.

Hey hycntryhtr don't feel bad. My kids are born 9/29, 10/1, and I just had my third on 10/9/14. Looks like they are going to be hunting on their birthdays instead of chuckecheese. I couldn't have planned it if I tried. I just cant go near my wife in December or January
