I hope Wyoming controls it different that Idaho has. it has opened up a lot of land here and ive taken advantage of it, but we have so many landowners that take the money but refuse hunters access. all in all its a great program!

We have signs and maps here to ensure the public has access. Wardens visit those areas regularly.

i like that. it has opened up some amazing country, most of it is horse or foot access only and that really limits who goes in. I made my own donation this year, no tag came out of it but another drawing in august.

The Eastern half of Wyoming has really benefitted from it. Often times they target land locked public areas and give access by opening up a section of private. Lots of foot traffic, but the terrain is such in many places that older or young hunters can have a good time. Just don't go on opening day...

I agree with Scott, the access yes has really opened up the eastern half of the state. I believe the G&F does a great job with the program, I'm sure there had been a few problems over the years, but the online mapping that identifies enrolled land, dates that it's open, units and species those lands are open to is great, and they do a great job of posting signs all around the property that is enrolled so you are comfortable knowing the property boundary. There are a few places I have antelope hunted and deer hunted where because of the access yes enrolled land we where able to hike across it and get to big pieces of public land that otherwise were landlocked.
