Worth putting in for cow elk pnts

Was wondering if putting in for points for antlerless elk was worth it. I found it pretty easy to find elk on my deer hunt last year and my group managed to put down a couple cows. This year Utah cancelled the controlled cow elk hunt for my deer hunt.

I do have 1pnt for antlerless elk. Should I build my points or use my point this season?

If you already have a license do it. Ten bucks and it's just about a sure thing. I have two points and didn't draw my cwmu tag last year. I do it cause it's close to the cabin and gets me out in December General areas typically don't need more than one though.
