Born and raised in upstate NY, where I learned to hunt, both bow and rifle. The Adirondacks is still one of my favorite places to disappear for a while. Recently became obsessed with Elk, going on my first Elk hunt in 2014, guided in western Montana, toughest thing I've ever done and can't wait to do it again. Living in Orlando for work but starting to look westward to be closer to everything that I like to do. Look forward to reading other peoples adventures and knowledge.

I feel your pain! I am in St. Pete. We are a long way off from the west but at least we have this forum until hunting season! Welcome.
