wish i had rifle!

I took off to hills this morn just outside of town to check out the spot ill be hunting deer, I had my bow with me incase I lucked into a nice buck. I didn't see any deer but had two bears give me a show from 300 yrds. where was my rifle?!!!
this moose wanted to watch too.

pictured don't do the bears justice, they were pretty big, a lot bigger than the ones I usually see and they were the prettiest chocolate color with a blonde snout. they got to top of hill and went separate ways.

Very cool, always cool to see what momma nature has to offer even if it is not what we have a tag for. Another part of what makes hunting so much fun.

yeah, it was cool. totally unexpected. was just a fast drive and hike to do some morning glassing.
