About six months ago I got some wise meals samples and just thought I would tell you what I think. I was skeptical at first but to my surprise they are really good. I think they are much better than the MT House meals. I just got my order in for this seasons hunts. I ordered mine from Amazon for half the price that wise had them for sale. Here is the link. I bought the kit below and I will divide it up into one meal portions like the MH meal. It says 7 days but really more like 10 days once divided up. The meals are different but really good. Might be to late for this year but give them a try. You can order a sample.

I seem to remember hearing somewhere that the salt content was much higher on the Wise??? Not positive but may be worth checking. Good luck and God bless

Yes the do have more sodium on average But that is not only a bad thing while trekking especially in the high country. I think that their highest daily sodium count per serving is right at 50%. I do know that while hike you will expel lots of sodium. I do believe I would rather have more sodium in my system than not enough. To me to little sodium would be worse than to much. And also remember you are not eating these meals everyday for 360 days a year. Now if you ate them everyday yes I would think you could have issues over the long haul.
