White river national forest and flat top wilderness

Hey guys, I live in utah and have decided I am going to hunt bow hunt Colorado this year. It's pretty overwhelming trying to figure out where you are going to hunt in a completely new area. I was just wondering if anyone has some info or recommendations on the white river and flat top wilderness. There is so many trailheads I have no idea where to Evan start. And what time of the year to hunt. Thank you for any advice and help

Also, have you tried searching the forum? This area is huge and comprised of several different units and there is already a ton of information on here for this area. Might help get you started then you can ask more detailed questions later.
