It just started snowing here.
The way that this winter started out I was thinking that we were going to have a banner year of snow. Vail Pass has been getting it's share the last month with multiple closures and wrecks along with just plain old safety closures by CDOT.
I'm glad that I don't have a reason to head east this winter, at least yet. My only real trip will be down to Arizona for my javelina hunt and in February you never know what that trip will hold. We've had clear sailing, and fought snow and ice. But we have always made it even the year that I spent the night in a parking lot in Kayenta when I got tired of the slick roads when I was pulling a trailer full of ATV's.
