What size cooler?

First-time antelope hunter this fall. Going to bone-out to bring home meat only. What size cooler will handle the buck?

50 qt should do just fine for one animal.

I usually put 2 georgia whitetails (does/small bucks) in a 70 qt cooler - bone in. I'm bringing a 70 qt on my antelope trip - have a couple doe tags.

I was able to get 2 antelope, quartered with bone-in in a 48 qt cooler with ice on my last trip.

I think we had 3 in a 150qt and there was plenty of room left!

If it's a one day trip home I promise you can put a boned out antelope in a 40 qt. But probably not the head depending on the caliber obviously. If the trip is going to be longer I would go with a 70 ish for ice and air
